A couple of things you need to think about as well as there are a few changes for this season.

Scruitineering/Signing on

• Fire extinguishers…. This has been done to death but everyone should be aware that they now need to have been serviced within the past 2 years.
• MSA stickers – helmets and HANS require them this year, so remember to bring £4 in change (think they are £2 each).
• Scrutineering is available on Friday from 1600-1900.  And then on Saturday at 0750.
• Series stickers will be handed out at sign on.
• Upgrade cards need to be handed in at sign on.  If you complete both races you will get 2 signatures on your card.  Don’t forget to collect your card at the end of the race meeting.
• Commentators Form, please print out, complete and hand in at sign on >>> Download <<<

Qualifying

• You need to complete 3 laps as usual, however as we now have 2 races you need 2 good laps in qualy.  Your fastest qualifying time is used in race 1 and your second fastest in race 2 for grid positions.

Race

• For 2018 we are 2x18min +1 lap races.
• The Green Flag lap is the lap from the pits to the start grid!  You will then form up and when the lights go out the race has started.
• There is no safety car this year for AFRC.
• Please re-read the series regulations for the Red Flag Procedure should it happen during qualy or the race.
• The PI now counts from lights to flag, so the first lap now counts.
