We’re incredibly pleased to announce that the partnership between AFRC and Max Coates is to continue into our 2017 championship.
The 2016 Renault UK Clio Cup Graduates champion said “I’m pleased to be working alongside the military and veteran drivers. They’re a great bunch to work with and I’m looking forward to further developing our relationship and extracting their potential”.
Max started supporting AFRC at his local round at Croft (in May 2016) and assisted with delivering some motorsport training material at RAF Leeming prior to providing practical instruction on a test day at Croft.
AFRC manager, Chris Slator said “It’s great to be able to continue working with Max into 2017. His coaching ability and professionalism means he fits our needs seamlessly. The work Max has already done with some of our less experienced competitors has really boosted both their confidence and performance. We are therefore excited to be able to continue Max’s work with these guys in the upcoming season.”
Max will be supporting rounds 1,2 & 4 unfortunately he’s unable to support the Cadwell Park event due to a TOCA calendar clash. Max has recently announced his intentions to launch a 2017 Renault UK Clio Cup Championship assault, once again with Ciceley Motorsport.
