Motor racing fans made their annual pilgrimage to the Autosport International Show this week; 10-13 Jan.  Members of all 3 services manned an AFRC stand to promote the 2019 championship to the pubic and industry, with nearly 100,000 making their way through the doors of the NEC.  This annual pre-season event covers all areas of motorsport, both professional and grass roots, from karting right up to Formula One.

Some great contacts were made over the weekend, which should see real benefit to the AFRC in 2019.  There was great reception from the public as well, with a lot of interest in the cars on display, particularly Will’s re-enginnered Honda Civic.  A number of veterans and service personnel found us out to discuss competing in the coming season.

Back to the normal day jobs now, but a great start to the 2019 season and the continued development of the AFRC.
